Framed watercolor painting features early 20th century Highland Park looking East at the SE corner of St. Johns and Central Ave. from railroad tracks as envisioned by artist. Partially legible typed notes on back indicate that the painting was a gift to Gilbert J. Baruff, outgoing president of the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce in 196?; and, that he returned it to the Chamber of Commerce on behalf of himself and Courtney Insurance Services. 57 x 70 cm.

Typed Information sheet with artifact reads "Sunbunnet belonging to Alice Alzyna Southworth Hodges made be her about 1906. Widow of William Dyer Hodges, Cobbler, Racine, Wisconsin. Mother of Mauice Hodges, Lunette Hodges Phelps, Ellen Adele Hodges Alderidge "Nana" Our Grandmother, Cora Hodges." Hodges lived in Highland Park, Illinois with her daughter and daughter-in-law in the early 20th century.

This faded, worn, and partially torn quilt was completed in the block and square pattern/style, with a myriad of colors such as red, blue, green, tan, and white intermingled in the pattern, along with a solid white backing. 155 x 129 cm.

This item consists of one red, white, and blue patterned quilt created and donated by Elizabeth Cumming Will in 2003, using fabrics styled after patterns from 1840-1865 for display at Francis Stupey Cabin. 210 x 150 cm. Minor tears repaired by creator 2018.11.

The Park is being created at cost of $150,000 for a high-class pleasure resort; consisting of a fine theater; stadium, seating 3000; fine athletic field; refectory and other accommodations and amusements.
No intoxicating drinks of any kind will be sold or allowed to be used on these grounds. The games and entertainments will be confined to those of the highest order.
The theatre will be open the year around.
