Verso reads "O'Connor. Telegraph Road in West Deerfield just north of Carlaws." Telegraph and Half-Day Road.

Identification taken from written description located on the back of the photograph placing it between Highwood and Half Day Road in Section 16.

Possible Saint Mary's in the Woods. Unlikely that this is oldest church in Illinois.

Verso reads "On Telegraph Road in West Deerfield. Built by his father, his family all lived there. John Carolan and his family lived in it until a few years ago when he built a new home and now uses this as a barn.

Verso reads One of the cabins back of brick house just west of CNW tracks on road from Highland Park to Deerfield. I do not think the structure was anything but a barn.

Verso reads "Over in the field north of the road ... from Highland Park to Deerfield west of C & N track. The cabin was almost gone last year. Some of the McCraren faily still live in the Deerfield Road. I think just before you get to the Mooney Cemetery Road."

Verso reads "Coulin cabin at end of Ridge Road in Section 17. West Deerfield [drawing]. Was occupied last year. Will send the film if not too late."

Verso reads "Henry Hubuer Green Bay Rd, almost to the County line on west side of the road back of a brick house. House was empty and I have not been able to get any information as to who built it."

Verso reads "Siegle the road dividing se[tion] 16 + 17 north of road from Highwood to Half Day. East side of road now destroyed. No history obtainable.
