History
Marjorie (Margie) Weiss was a former member of the Highland Park City Council for 16 years, ending in 1997. She worked on the Downtown Redevelopment Commission, to bring about school consolidation, and to ban handgun ownership. Weiss was also a former president of the League of Women Voters, served on the Highland Park Community House Board, and was a member of the Apple Tree Theater Board of Directors.
