This artificial collection created by the Society consists of 31 oversize, chiefly mounted, maps. Many of the mountings have maps on both sides. Maps are of Highland Park, Illinois. There are several maps of the state of Illinois. An inventory file entitled "Map Collection" contains images of several of the maps. An asterisk in the inventory indicates items in this collection.

Photographs and medals that belonged to Joseph D. Lang, 6730447, a private in Troop A, 14th Cavalry, stationed at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. Photographs chiefly document horse shows and other events at the Fort. Medals include Pistol "D" medal pin, "Rifle" and "Pistol M."

The Hart family collection contains 9 architectural house drawings of the James M. Hart house, located at 282 Linden Park Place, Highland Park IL. This house was designed by Milton Schwartz. The dates of the drawings range from the mid 1950s to the mid 1970s. These drawings reflect the additions and improvements the Harts made on the property. The collection also contains a box of photographs and documents for the Hart family.

This collection contains images used in "Highland Park Settlement to the 1920s" local history book. These items were pulled from other collections for the use in the Settlement book and have not been rearranged.

This collection contains images in and around Highland Park (chiefly). It has been arranged into 4 series with a list of each item in that series. A few slides have been damaged, and some are difficult to view due to over exposure. They are a mix of sizes ranging from 4x5 to 5x10. These slides may have been taken by the Brand Bros. Studio or Jesse Lowe Smith.

The content of this series includes photos and postcards of real estate properties as well as files about residences and architects in Highland Park, Illinois. This series was put together by the Highland Park Historical Society from diverse sources. There is a written description included with each property. The dates of these properties range approximately from the mid 1930s until the mid 1970s. The properties are arranged alphabetically by street name and then in number order.

Scrapbook of professional photographs of Highland Park home interior and exterior in Central and Laurel Avenues area. Images on the interior wall include a young man in a Northwestern Military Academy Uniform, pendants for the academy and the University of Michigan and hunting ephemera.
