These black and white aerial photographs of Township 43 (Deerfield, later renamed Moraine) were taken in Spring, 1986. Each photograph shows a different part of Township 43. There is an official seal of Lake County on the bottom right of each page. The photographs were taken by the Sidwell Company, copyright, 1984. Copies on plain paper (not photo paper).

Oral history interview with Jewish World War II Army Veteran. Norman Rivkin served in the 5th Army Division "Red Diamond Division" during World War II, 11th division, Company K. He relates training and military exercises, "war games" leading up to the invasion of Normandy, France and the campaigns and battles on French and German soil, especially Alscace and Lorraine.

Rivkin discusses continued 21st century correspondence and meetings with people he met in the 1943-1945 war theater in Germany and France. Interviewed by "Eric" for student project.

Highland Park has a diversity of churches and synagogues, representing multiple denominations. From the first, a Catholic Church a cabin of oak logs erected by early settlers in 1846 to the Christian Science Church built in 1904 (the building was sold to the City in 1984), this collection comprises documents, service programs, photographs, newspaper articles and other materials pertinent to the Roman Catholic, Evangelical, Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, and other Christian churches and materials pertinent to several Jewish synagogues serving the community.
