Oldest church

Possible Saint Mary's in the Woods. Unlikely that this is oldest church in Illinois.

Martin Barn

Verso reads "One of the cabins back of the brick house just west of the Co N Track on road from H Park to Deerfield. I do not think that it was anything but a barn"

Huber house

Verso reads "Henry Hubuer Green Bay Rd, almost to the County line on west side of the road back of a brick house. House was empty and I have not been able to get any information as to who built it."

Siegle property cabin

Verso reads "Siegle the road dividing se[tion] 16 + 17 north of road from Highwood to Half Day. East side of road now destroyed. No history obtainable.

Burus Cabin

Verso reads "The Old Burns cabin (ill.) on the Swift Farm west side of Ridge road."

Swift Farm

Verso reads "Never a house. On the Swift Farm on Ridge Road. East Side of Road."

Lamb's House

Verso reads Lamb's in section 16 West of Highwood north fo C & N track way off from the main road."

Sweeny's

Verso reads Sweeny's ; I don't think this was ever a house -- a little west of the main Sweeny house. Still standing.

John Sweeny House

Verso reads "Michael Sweeny's west of Fort Sheridan depot. Now destroyed. Built around 1840 by John Sweeney, according to newspaper clipping."

John Carolan House

Verso reads "On Telegraph Road in West Deerfield. Built by his father, his family all lived there. John Carolan and his family lived in it until a few years ago when he built a new home and now uses this as a barn.
