Scrapbook documenting the renovation of the Ravinia Train Station contains color photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings and engineering reports. Compiled by Jeff Stern for the Ravinia Neighorbors Association. Items in the scrapbook date from 1980 to 1993 with the bulk of the items dating from 1981 to 1989.
An overview of the Ravinia Garden Club as prepared by the organization, a list of members who participated in it at the time it was prepared, news articles, a copy of the bylaws, and various information regarding the Blue Star Memorial Markers, as well as communication between then Senator Mark Kirk and Marilyn Alaimo congratulating her on receiving to permit to renovate the memorial site.
The collection contains awards, reports, administrative documents, publicity, tax records, photographs, and related materials about the activities of the Ravinia Garden Club and its members.
Records, newsletter and other materials documenting the research and restoration efforts of "Winter Landscape," and oil painting by Walter Koeniger and donated to the school in the 1920s.
