The vast majority of the collection material was created prior to 1990 and includes documents related to the emigration of the Grotti brothers from Italy, records related to the disputation of their property in Marion County, Illinois and photographs of family members from a variety of eras.

The collection contains an incomplete set of issues of the Garden Club's publication "Garden Pants" from 1939-1968. Also included are Men's Garden Clubs of America Yearbooks (1940-1943), applications for membership (1943-1957), correspondence, project information, metal garden markers, and materials from annual garden club shows.

Ravinia Depot renovation scrapbook
Scrapbook documenting the renovation of the Ravinia Train Station contains color photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings and engineering reports. Compiled by Jeff Stern for the Ravinia Neighorbors Association. Items in the scrapbook date from 1980 to 1993 with the bulk of the items dating from 1981 to 1989.
