NSYC

Taken from farther north and looking south, the tower is seen with the flagpole in front, for the purpose of signal flags that could be visible to the boats in a race. NSYC had better sand than the public beach, and in about 1960 they traded places.

NYSC

Can't recall last name; first name was Bernie, I think; his brother
also sailed at NSYC.

Club house

RCE Carlson and Bill (in spite of a not-too-steady shot, this gives a nearly complete view of the east and north sides of the club house).

Boats

Dad didn't notice Bill and me in the shadow until we pointed out ourselves when reminiscing twenty years or so later. At the right edge of the photo is a white concrete base with what appears to be a pair of cable guides on top. This could be part of the electric winch that was used to pull the boats from the water to their parking spaces.
