This collection contains images used in "Highland Park Settlement to the 1920s" local history book. These items were pulled from other collections for the use in the Settlement book and have not been rearranged.

The first scrapbook titled "Autographs" was a gift from her parents given at the age of 15. It contains personal notes and drawings sent to Bertha, including one from her future husband Frank Green. The second scrapbook is a mixture of Bertha's poetry as well as reviews of her recitations.

There are 2 boxes with the first box having 5 folders of various images. Topics range from churches to parades and piers. The second box has 8 folders ranging from buildings to bridges and other various buildings around Highland Park.

The bulk of the images date from the 1869 founding of Highland Park, Illinois to the early 20th century.
